Academic Center Lady Eagles Basketball Team Heads to Area One Championship
The Academic Center girls basketball team won their game Thursday, 24-15 against Oriole Park. This was the second round of playoffs. Kyra Vidas had 12 points, Amanda Bernacchi, 10 points, and Brittany Broderson, 2 points. The third round of playoffs is on Saturday @ 3pm in Brooks Park against Gray for the Area One Championship. Come out and support the girls!

Congratulations Wrestlers!
We all want to congratulate Taft wrestlers Francisco Lozano (1st in the Regionals, 2nd in the Sectionals), Gerardo Bucio (1st in the Regionals, 4th in the Sectionals) and Luke Capone (3rd in the Regionals) and continue to root for Francisco & Gerardo as they compete in the State Tournament on March 12th - 14th. Also, kudos to Rick Young, Marvin Martinez, Gerardo Bucio & Luke Capone for making the Chicago All-City Academic Team. Keep up the great work wrestlers!
