We are happy to announce that the Taft Alumni Association will offer $750.00 and $1000.00 scholarships this school year. The first is the customary TAA scholarships awarded to students who have proved their abilities through: - Academic Achievement
- School and Extracurricular Activities
- School Spirit
The second is the annual Hendrickson Scholarship is presented in memory of Robert “Bill” Hendricksen, Class of 1960, through a special donation by his family. Mr. Hendricksen had been an average student, but he made a success of his life through hard work. This scholarship is earmarked for students who, with a little support, will work hard to meet challenges and pursue their dreams though they have not scored at the top of their class.
There are three parts to the scholarship application: - Application form
- Essay (250 word minimum)
- Two (2) Teacher’s Recommendation forms
The application deadline for 2010 is April 16th and the application form for these scholarships may be downloaded below. If you have access to a computer with Microsoft Word, you may download the editable Word version of the application and then edit the document before printing. If your computer does not have Microsoft Word, you may download and print the Adobe Acrobat version of the application below and then fill it out by hand.
