Fishing
We finally had our first outing and while we didn't catch many keepers, we had a good time. Twin Lakes Recreation Area in Palatine was a nice spot with good facilities and they gave us a great Taft discount. From the pictures in the clubhouse, there are some monsters lurking the depths, they just didn't want to cooperate this past Sunday. Given the stange weather we've had, we shouldn't have expected much.
I was glad to see we have some talented fisherman/women that will form the core of our team for this year and in the future. Remember - we are a part of history!
Thanks to all the parents that took the time on Sunday and for your future support. We cannot get this program off the ground without you.
