The 2009 Men's Lacrosse season finished with the best record in team history at 3-7. While that may not seem impressive, the teams that our in our conference are always tough, and our sport is the most difficult, challenging, and physically demanding of any sport offered at Taft. Congratulations on a good season!
For all students interested in joining the team next season, you will need a few things in order to do so...
1. A physical on file
2. At most, 1 F per grade check
3. You must be eligible from first semester
4. Your own men's lacrosse stick (attack or defense)
You do not need your own lacrosse gloves, but many of the players like to have their own gear. Look at Dick's and Play it Again Sports for deals, or ask Santa for some gear.
No experience is required, but a certain amount of athletic ability is needed in order to succeed and maintain your own safety while on the field.
If you have any questions before then, come see Coach Harte in 220 during or after school.
