Elections in Action

Meeting Time - Mondays and Wednesdays, 2:45pm

Students will earn service learning hours as they actively participate in the American political process through hands-on experiences such as political campaign internships, mock elections and debates, and the student election judges program. In addition, students will have the opportunity to attend citywide functions where they will interact with other high school students also participating in the program from around the city. The possibility to travel to nationally televised political functions in other states exists for exceptionally motivated program participants.
